The Metropolitan Bus Authority (AMA) operates in the San Juan metropolitan area. Stops are marked by and are identified by signs which read "Parada".

There are terminals in a number of cities in the metropolitan area, complete information is available through the AMA at 250-6064, or the new Metrobus system (San Juan to Rio Piedras) at 763-4141.
